THIRD EYE: cybernetic punks of Hypermedia, performing cut and glue operations along the length and breath of the electromagnetic spectrum. Now Energy Comes. Mainline 240 volts AC : haemorrhage light and sound. Their Instruments are a microprocessors and they want you to do a little street surgery on your brain. To survive you must have soul. Let them in.

THIRD EYE is Ollie Olsen. Writing and co-producing the platinum 'Max Q' project album was only the most conspicuous of Ollie's recent activities. It provided the wave Hypermedia ride into the 90's. A doyen of Australian alternative music, Ollie has been working the aural edge for most of his career. Among influences; systems music, the so-called minimalists such as Reich and Glass, Partch and early Germon electronic outfits Neu, Cluster, Harmonia and Can. Favourite locus: the suburbia of the soul.


THIRD EYE is Gus Till: Programming/brainstorming "Max Q", brought Gus into a professional relationship with Ollie. Gus, too, is a long-standing member of the local electro-music fraternity, although his interests lie across the boundaries of all musics and all ages. He joins Ollie in devising the InterWorld music of Third Eye. Prefers single-malt whiskey. Favourite medieval composer: Marc-Antione Charpentier
