A solid slab of serious humour from Finland's Texas Faggott. A seamless collection of spine-tingling, head-wiggling tracks. This is futuro-electro, soumi goa sounds, which cooks along at a comfortable breakneck speed.

Each of the eleven tracks is a thumping sonic narrative, as suitable for the daily commute on a Walkman as for the full-tilt dancefloor. The structure is a grooving blend of trance with earlier German and Belgian techno influences, and the mix works perfectly. Growling synths and fat bubbling basslines matched with catchy and engaging samples and melodies.

Texas Faggott harness every warped element unimaginable into a first rate aural experience. From the first track, Piripintaan, a dark and mysterious full-moon floor filler- through to the driving arcade-game madness of Stroot Strips and beyond, the listener can just as comfortably sit back and relax to it as they can get up and dance to it. A unique synthesis of genres unwritten that typifies Psy-Harmonics releases.
